Jollibee at RCH

Jollibee also stopped by to share in the Christmas cheer with the children. Not only did the children receive treats, but important goods were donated that help in the day-to-day operations of the home.

This appearance could not have happened without the kind hearts of the Knights of Antipolo, Wings of Love Riders, all employees and relatives working with local grocer, Wigley Phil's.
At this time of Year we remember how God uses His people to provide for these dear children in so many ways. We thank Him for his continued provision for the Home and for the best gift of all .... our Precious Lord Jesus.

December = Joy, Fun, Blessings

During the Christmas season, the generosity of everyone comes out. Recently a group of young people came to celebrate the birthday of a benefactor of the home, Ate Jo-e Villagracia, where a lunch was provided for the children. These young adults also played games with the children, spending time with them and providing gifts. the home was also given important supplies such as a baby spa, vitamins and analgesics for infants. Maraming-maraming salamat po!

We're Doing Great!

Joshua . The moment he learns to walk . . . and more development follows! Look at the way he holds the big ball . . . good job Joshua!

Nikki. Nikki finally walks . . . after 2 years and 8 months she now can confidently walk. Another case of global developmental delay due to malnutrition before she was surrendered to Rehoboth. Patience, proper care and love are helping her become more active and healthy as she waits for a loving family to care for her.

Birthdays and Goodbyes ....

Birthday Fun for Rommel . . . Everybody is ready to jump and try to get the treats frm the "pabitin" . . . even the "mamas" and "papas" are waiting their turn!

Bye-bye Rommel, Ella, & Racquel . . . Finally the Chato Siblings have a family. On September 29, 2008, they left Rehoboth, their home for more than 3 years. We thank God for this new family!

The Graham's at Rehoboth . . . Eric and Anna Graham arrived at Rehoboth on the 27th of September to bring home their children ... a day before Rommel's Birthday. What a great birthday present!!!

Hitting the pot . . . This was taken part of Rommel's birthday party. One of the games the kids are so excited about . . . "Hitting the Pot" is also one of the traditional Filipino ways of celebrating birthdays. Inside the pot there are lots of treats for the kids.

I hit it . . . ! After so many attempts! Finally a lucky one hits the pot . . . yeeheey!!!

24 September ....

"See what i made out of Lego's? It's a train! and it makes the sound tsug-tsug-tsug!"

Playing Super Heroes is one of the favorite pastimes of Rehoboth kids . . .

Would you believe that these babies working on a puzzle?! Nope! they are just enjoying the textures, the colors and the drawings . . .

The whole Rehoboth staff, especially the "mamas” are so proud that finally, this little boy is walking! He was diagnosed with global developmental delay . . . but now at 2 yrs 6 mths he is starting to walk and making bubbling sounds. Team effort, being pateint and doing the prescribed therapy as well as lots of love are helping him to become what he is now, a bubbly, endearing and a happy little fellow!

Playing with shaving cream
One of our children enjoys playing with the soft and sticky texture of the shaving cream and is fascinated how the cream became bulky when rubbed.
Mommy and baby bird activity
In this picture, the kids pretended to be mommy and baby birds and the hoops are the nests.
Flower Pattern at the Preschool
In this picture, the kids are having fun combining a every piece to make flower. They can can combine whatever they like.
Celebrating b-day with "Pabitin"
This is our simpliest but fun way to celebrate the kids birthday. We just hang some candies and cookies on a pieces of criss-cross bamboo sticks (this is the proper way), but in the picture, we used the clothes hanging clip. They love this activity getting some candies and cookies in a fun way.
